Arsenal want to sign a new forward in January with Bournemouth star Eli Junior Kroupi among the options they are considering, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Gunners reportedly want to boost their chances of winning the Premier League and Champions League this season by bolstering their attack.
And the Mirror claims Arsenal are weighing up a move for Kroupi, even though Bournemouth have no appetite to sell him this winter.
France Under-21 international Kroupi is regarded as one of the best young players in Europe after sparkling for Bournemouth last season.
The 20-year-old scored 13 Premier League goals to help the Cherries finish sixth and qualify for this season’s Europa League.
However, the €119m-rated (£100m) striker is in the process of regaining full fitness after missing the start of the season with a foot injury.
Arsenal remain interested in signing Juventus and Turkey star Kenan Yildiz ahead of the January transfer window, the Mirror adds.
The Athletic claims Arsenal made an enquiry for Yildiz in the summer, only for Serie A giants Juventus to insist he was not for sale.
Yildiz has recorded 27 goals and 21 assists in 132 games for Juventus - an impressive return given he only turned 21 in May.
However, the winger has not featured for the Italian side since the end of August as he continues to recover from a broken foot.
Yildiz, who is contracted to Juventus until the summer of 2030, reportedly holds of a valuation of at least €100m (£83.3m).
Club Brugge have no intention of selling Arsenal-linked Nicolo Tresoldi in the January transfer window, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Tresoldi is developing a reputation as one of the best young strikers in Europe having scored 13 goals in 15 games for Brugge this season.
Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg claims Arsenal are one of a number of clubs who are keeping tabs on the 22-year-old.
AC Milan are also being linked with Tresoldi, who grew up supporting the Serie A heavyweights, according to his father Emanuele.

Gazzetta understands Milan owner Gerry Cardinale has made Tresoldi his dream signing following his hat-trick against their rivals Inter in October.
However, Belgian giants Brugge have reportedly told Milan they will not allow the Germany Under-21 international to leave in January.
Gazzetta also suggests Brugge could demand more than €50million (£41.6m) for Tresoldi next summer, given his blistering form in 2026-27.
That follows an earlier reporter from Plettenberg who claimed Barcelona were quoted that figure when making an enquiry for Tresoldi in the summer.
Arsenal have been told summer transfer target Yan Diomande is “exceeding beyond all expectations” at Real Madrid.
BBC Sport claims the Gunners held an interest in signing Diomande before he joined Real from RB Leipzig for €125million (£104m).
And the 19-year-old has made a blistering start to his Los Blancos career, recording seven goal contributions in his last eight games.
Diomande has shone in the absence of the suspended Vinicius Junior, scoring against Villarreal, Sevilla, Leipzig and Racing Santander of late.

And Diario AS journalist Carlos Forjanes believes the teenage sensation is comfortably paying back his enormous transfer fee.
He writes: “He (Diomande) has been on a clear upward trajectory since the [international] break - a period during which he already signalled, while playing for Ivory Coast, that he was gearing up for takeoff.
“Since then, he has left his mark on seven goals, either by scoring them himself (four) or by providing the decisive assist (three). And he’s been playing with real flair, too: he has only five fewer successful dribbles (34 compared to 39) than (Kylian) Mbappe, despite the Frenchman having spent 512 more minutes on the pitch.
“Whether Diomande is the cause or the effect of this good run for Madrid - a classic ‘chicken or the egg’ scenario - there is no denying that if the Ivorian set out to make the most of Vinicius’ lengthy league suspension, he is succeeding beyond all expectations. Check.”
Hull City winger Mohamed Belloumi would be interested in joining Arsenal if they made an offer for his services, according to Maghreb Foot.
Belloumi has caught the eye in his first season in the Premier League, recording three goals and two assists for the Tigers this term.
Should Arsenal make a move for Belloumi, Maghreb Foot claims the 24-year-old would be open to making the switch to the Emirates Stadium.
However, there has only been loose speculation suggesting Arsenal are monitoring the Algeria international’s developments this season.
Arsenal will likely get the chance to watch Belloumi in person when Hull make the trip to north London in the Premier League on Saturday.
