Celtic v Besiktas injury news: Six out including captain and two doubts as Old Firm friends and foes return

Latest team news ahead of the Europa League clash at Celtic Park

Celtic go in search of their first Europa League points at the fourth attempt when they host Besiktas on Thursday night.

Martin O'Neill's side have made a disastrous start to their campaign with three successive defeats by Ferencvaros, Benfica and Celta Vigo leaving them with a mountain to climb to reach the knockout stage.

The Hoops are one of only four teams still on zero points and sit second bottom of the 36-team table. Only minnows Ararat-Armenia are below the Scottish champions due to having a worse goal difference.

Only a victory will do for Celtic against the Turkish giants, who are eighth in the Europa League standings after wins over Marseille and Hoffenheim were followed by a draw against Crystal Palace.
