WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg recently returned to the ring for his first official match in more than 11 years.
The former WWE Tag Team Champion competed at Jeff Jarrett’s All-Star Super Slam event in Hendersonville, Tennessee, on October 22. His return was confirmed by the My World with Jeff Jarrett podcast. They shared a post celebrating the success of Jarrett’s event the following day.
Road Dogg has remained involved in the wrestling business during his lengthy absence from in-ring competition. He previously worked as a WWE producer and held creative responsibilities. He mainly filled in for a role as co-lead writer for SmackDown, before departing his creative position earlier in 2026.
Road Dogg’s participation had been announced ahead of the show. His return to competition ended a break that lasted more than a decade.
Road Dogg teamed with Jarrett and Jay Lethal in a six-man tag team match against QT Marshall, Elijah Drago, and Brady Booker. The match took place during an event celebrating Jarrett’s 40 years in professional wrestling as part of Hendersonville Pig Fest.
The appearance marked a notable milestone for Road Dogg. He had not wrestled in an official match since January 25, 2015. His last match before Thursday’s return took place at WWE Royal Rumble 2015, where he teamed with Billy Gunn as the New Age Outlaws against The Ascension.
Road Dogg was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 as a member of D-Generation X. Beyond his accomplishments as a performer, he spent years contributing to WWE’s production and creative operations.
