A tough task awaits the Hatters tonight.
After a superb run of results, 4 wins on the bounce, has seen the Hatters climb to 4th place in the EFL League One table, the ultimate test awaits Luton Town tonight.
At the stadium now known as the Accu Stadium, the Hatters go head-to-head with the side that occupy top place in the table, Huddersfield Town.
When it comes to league football, this season, Huddersfield Town have lost just the 1 game out of the 13 games they have played, against Bromley, who as it turns out, sit rock bottom in the EFL League One table, proving how, sometimes, football can be such an unpredictable sport.
It is a trip north that, in my opinion, will be a test of exactly how far the side has come under Jack Wilshere, are we really promotion candidates or is it another false dawn?
A win tonight would be a superb result, indeed I would be perfectly happy with a draw, even if it does bring an end to our run of 4 consecutive wins.
But how do our readership perceive this acid test going?
Our pre-match poll results make for interesting reading with only 28%, of those that voted, of the opinion that the Hatters will make the 160-mile journey southwards, with a win to celebrate.
A further 27% reckon it will be a glum journey home with Huddersfield Town celebrating a home win, with every one of the 160-miles home, seemingly, taking an eternity, while the remaining 45% reckon the honours will be shared with the game ending in a draw.
Personally, I reckon the game will end 2-2, with both teams claiming a point.
But are you brave enough to raise your head and predict the final result?
