The New England Patriots will be without several key players for their Week 7 matchup against the Chicago Bears, as injuries continue to affect the team at this point in the season.
Offensive linemen Alijah Vera-Tucker and Ben Brown will miss the contest after suffering injuries in Week 6. Vera-Tucker is dealing with a hamstring injury, while Brown is sidelined by a knee injury. Their absences will force New England to adjust its offensive line against Chicago’s defensive front.
The Patriots will also be without cornerback Carlton Davis III, who is nursing a neck injury. His absence leaves New England without an important contributor in its secondary as the defense prepares to face a dangerous Bears offense.
However, the Patriots will have A.J. Brown in uniform for the second consecutive game after coming off of injured reserve in Week 6. Brown recorded three receptions for 27 yards in his return against the New York Jets. Through two appearances this season, he has six catches for 53 yards and has yet to score a touchdown.
New England will look to overcome its injury-related absences and maintain its momentum from its current three-game winning streak against Chicago on Thursday night.
