Angel Reese extends phenomenal record after the Atlanta Dream’s Game 6 win.
The 2026 WNBA Finals have officially been extended to seven games after the Atlanta Dream registered an 80-69 win over the Golden State Valkyries.
For the Dream, Alisha Gray and Rhyne Howard carried most of the offensive load as the two stars combined for 44 points in Game 6.
As for Angel Reese, she added 15 points, but shot just 5-of-18 from the field. However, the headline was Reese knocking down two three-pointers.
Considering Reese plays as a power forward, she’s hardly expected to be a phenomenal three-point shooter. But Reese has been proving her critics wrong in the 2026 WNBA playoffs.
After all, she has shot 44.4% from deep this postseason. An even more interesting stat is the fact that the Dream are undefeated when Reese has made at least one three-pointer in 2026.
According to ESPN, Reese and the Dream have extended this streak to 16-0 following the 11-point win over the Valkyries in the WNBA Finals.

Well, that’s indeed an insane stat and something that the Valkyries will be wary of in the final game of the series.
