The call-up represents a new challenge for Cristiano Ronaldo's son, who has already had experience with other age groups in his country. Before this opportunity, he had played four matches with the under-15 national team and nine with the under-16s, with a tally of five goals in 13 international appearances.

He will now have the chance to compete in a higher category under coach Filipe Ramos. The list includes footballers from different Portuguese clubs as well as players who compete for teams abroad.

The matches Portugal will play in the European Championship qualifiers

The Portuguese national team’s schedule includes three matches in the first qualifying round.

The team will face Andorra on November 11, Bulgaria on the 14th, and Serbia on the 17th, in a series that will be important for its hopes of advancing in the tournament.

The youth team's training camp will begin on November 6 at the City of Football in Portugal and will continue until the end of the competition.

The objective will be to finish in one of the top two places in the group to advance to the next phase.

For Cristiano Jr., this call-up represents an opportunity to show that he can continue growing in international soccer. Although he still has a long way to go, his promotion to the under-17 team represents another chapter in a career that draws special attention because he is the son of one of the greatest figures in soccer history.
