AC Milan have intensified their efforts and are now pushing to finalise a deal for one of FC Barcelona’s standout players.

The upcoming winter transfer market is rapidly heating up, with several top European powerhouses aiming to wrap up crucial deals ahead of the mid-season deadline.

In Serie A, club executives are moving aggressively behind the scenes to reinforce their squad for the second half of the campaign.

Among the ongoing high-profile negotiations, a major Italian giant has surged ahead in their attempt to secure an elite defensive talent currently playing in La Liga.

That player is Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde, who is reportedly nearing a stunning move to AC Milan.

Transfer News Live reports indicate that the Rossoneri are in advanced discussions with the Catalan club to finalize a high-profile transfer.

The Spain international, long considered a vital long-term asset along Barcelona’s left flank, has reportedly attracted intense interest from the Italian outfit as they seek a dynamic, pacey full-back to elevate their backline.

Financial considerations at Spotify Camp Nou, combined with fierce competition across Barcelona’s squad, have opened the door for potential high-value exits.

With AC Milan willing to make a substantial financial commitment, the move has gained significant traction in recent days.

Negotiators from both sides are actively working to iron out the final structural details of the deal, signaling that a formal agreement could be finalized sooner than expected.

Should the transaction be completed, acquiring a defender of Balde’s pedigree and potential would mark a major statement of intent for AC Milan’s ambitions both domestically and on the European stage.

For Barcelona, sanctioning the transfer allows them flexibility to reshuffle their roster and address immediate financial priorities.
