"With Good Organisation, South Africa Are Beatable," Kenyan Striker Advises Benni McCarthy

A Kenyan striker playing his football in South Africa has offered advice to Harambee Stars head coach Benni McCarthy ahead of Kenya's 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Bafana Bafana.

The striker believes South Africa can be defeated if Kenya approaches the encounter with proper organisation, discipline and a clear tactical plan. His comments come as attention turns to the highly anticipated fixture, which presents McCarthy with an important opportunity to strengthen Kenya's position in the qualifying campaign.

Speaking about the challenge posed by the South African national team, he stressed that Bafana Bafana should not be considered unbeatable. Despite their quality, experience and strong football structure, he believes Kenya have the ability to compete with them if the right preparations are made.

"With good organisation, South Africa are beatable."

The Kenyan forward's assessment suggests that Harambee Stars must remain compact, maintain their defensive shape and avoid giving their opponents unnecessary space to exploit. He believes tactical discipline will be particularly important against a South African side known for its technical ability and attacking movement.

For McCarthy, the advice presents an opportunity to carefully study Bafana Bafana's strengths and weaknesses before deciding how his team should approach the contest. Kenya will need to combine defensive stability with effective attacking transitions if they hope to secure a positive result.

The encounter is expected to attract considerable attention from supporters in both countries, given the importance of the qualification campaign and the competitive nature of African international football.

South Africa will be determined to make their quality count, while Kenya will be eager to demonstrate that they can challenge established teams on the continental stage.

The striker's message is clear: Kenya should not approach the match with fear. Instead, proper organisation, concentration and tactical discipline could give Harambee Stars the opportunity to overcome their opponents.
