Orlando Pirates supporters have started discussing possible coaching options for the future, with Jabulani Arthur Zwane, popularly known as '10111', emerging as a potential candidate to replace Abdeslam Ouaddou should the Moroccan coach eventually leave the club.
Ouaddou has made a positive impression since taking charge of the Soweto giants, earning admiration from supporters who believe he has what it takes to build a successful team. His coaching philosophy, ambition and influence on the players have made him an important figure at Orlando Pirates.
One Pirates supporter expressed a strong wish for Ouaddou to remain at the club for many years, admitting that it would be difficult to imagine the Buccaneers without him in charge.
However, the supporter also acknowledged that football is unpredictable and that coaching changes can happen at any time. For this reason, the fan believes Pirates should already be considering possible successors rather than waiting until a vacancy arises.
Jabulani Zwane, widely recognised as 10111, was mentioned as someone who deserves consideration if the club eventually needs a new head coach. His understanding of South African football and experience in the local coaching environment were highlighted as possible advantages.
Despite the growing discussion, there is no indication that Pirates are planning to part ways with Ouaddou. The club has also not announced any decision regarding a possible coaching change.
For now, Ouaddou remains focused on his responsibilities as the Buccaneers continue their pursuit of success in domestic and continental competitions.
Nevertheless, Zwane's name entering the conversation shows that some supporters are already thinking about the club's long-term future and who could lead Pirates if Ouaddou eventually moves on.
