Orlando Pirates super-fan Miracle Ebubechi Michael, popularly known as Mimi or Anoda Mirakle, has captured the attention of South African football supporters after travelling from Nigeria to Johannesburg to watch her beloved team face Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto Derby.

Mimi’s remarkable journey has highlighted the passion of football supporters and the generosity of fans who helped turn her dream into reality. Her trip reportedly became possible after a fundraising campaign raised more than R40,000, attracting contributions from supporters of Orlando Pirates and rival clubs, including Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Orlando Pirates Supporters Forum also supported the initiative, while accommodation assistance was reportedly arranged for Mimi and her partner during their stay in South Africa.

For Mimi, supporting the Buccaneers is a passion rooted in her family.
