Orlando Pirates chairman Dr Irvin Khoza has expressed his appreciation for Mandla Ncikazi following the coach's departure from the Soweto giants, acknowledging the important role he played during his time at the club.

Khoza praised Ncikazi's contribution to the Buccaneers, stating that the club was grateful for his dedication and service. He also wished the outgoing coach well as he prepares to take on a new professional challenge.

In his statement, the Pirates chairman emphasised that the club respects Ncikazi's decision to pursue another opportunity and is pleased to see him move forward in his career.

“Mandla leaves with our gratitude and our blessing. His contribution to Orlando Pirates has been evident throughout his time with us.

“We respect his wish to pursue this new opportunity and wish him success as he takes on a new responsibility,” Khoza said.

Ncikazi's departure marks the end of his chapter with the Buccaneers, where he played a role in the club's technical setup.

Although his exit signals a change for Orlando Pirates, Khoza's remarks suggest that the club remains appreciative of the work he delivered during his tenure.

The chairman's message also reflects a respectful parting of ways, with the club wishing Ncikazi success in his next career move.

Pirates supporters will now look ahead to the team's future while remembering Ncikazi's contribution to the club.
