Mamelodi Sundowns stars Khuliso Mudau and Teboho Mokoena have both been nominated for the CAF Inter-Club Player of the Year award at the 2026 CAF Awards.

The two Bafana Bafana internationals are among the players receiving recognition for their performances at club level, with their nominations putting the spotlight on Sundowns' contribution to African football.

Mudau has continued to demonstrate his importance to the Brazilians, while Mokoena has also remained an influential figure in the team's midfield.

Having two players nominated in the same category is another significant moment for the Tshwane-based club, which continues to compete among Africa's leading football teams.

The nominations also provide South African football with another opportunity to be represented at the continental awards, as the country looks forward to seeing its players recognised for their achievements.

With both players in contention, Sundowns supporters will be hoping to see one of their stars take home the prestigious individual award.
