South Africa U15 Team Thrash Anguilla 13-1 as Two Players Score Hat-Tricks at FIFA World Cup

In the third group match of the 2026 FIFA U15 World Cup and Festival, which took place on Sunday in Baku, Azerbaijan, South Africa's national under-15 team recorded a resounding 13-1 victory over Anguilla. This was a remarkable performance for South Africa's under-15 team. An outstanding attacking display was delivered by the young South Africans, which resulted in them scoring thirteen goals in a single match. They bounced back in fantastic fashion. The victory was an impressive response from the team, and it provided the players with the opportunity to demonstrate their talent on a stage that brought them international recognition.

Although a number of players were responsible for the remarkable outcome, Tshiamo Mashishi and Camden Schaper stood out as the most notable players after scoring hat-tricks. These two young players each scored three goals, making them the leading scorers in South Africa's dominant performance. Both of them found the back of the net three times.

Both Mashishi and Schaper had a fantastic performance in front of the net, with Mashishi demonstrating his ability to attack by scoring three goals. Throughout the encounter, South Africa was able to keep the pressure on Anguilla thanks to the performances of these individuals.

Both Lesedi Hlalele and Katlego Mokhabuki scored twice, which contributed significantly to the victory. Both players played important roles in the victory. Their contributions not only added to South Africa's already impressive goal tally, but they also highlighted the offensive prowess that the team displayed.

The list of South African players who scored goals was completed by Neo Dhlamini, Bohlale Finger, and Keanu Moses, all of whom scored at least one goal.

Despite the fact that Anguilla was able to score a consolation goal, it was not enough to prevent a heavy loss against a South African team that demonstrated its determination to get back to winning ways.

Both the young South Africans' ability to create scoring opportunities and their ability to convert those opportunities into goals were highlighted by the scoreline of 13-1. As they continue their campaign at the first-ever FIFA U15 Boys World Cup and Festival, the players will experience a significant boost in confidence as a result of the result. By participating in the competition, young football players are given the chance to represent their countries, gain experience playing on an international level, and improve their skills by competing against teams from different regions of the world.

Despite the impressive scoreline, South Africa's victory was about more than just the score themselves. Additionally, it provided the players with the opportunity to not only demonstrate their determination to compete but also to respond positively to the previous group-stage setback they had experienced.

At this point, the coaching staff will be hoping that the team can continue to improve in other aspects of the game while also building on the performance they have just shown. Maintaining consistency will be essential as the tournament progresses, despite the fact that scoring 13 goals is an impressive accomplishment. With their hat-tricks, Mashishi and Schaper have earned special recognition for their contributions to South Africa's resounding victory, which has provided the younger players with plenty of reasons to rejoice.

When it comes to continuing to represent their country on the international stage, the young players will now be looking to carry this momentum into their next challenge.
