Kaizer Chiefs have officially confirmed that their Carling Knockout Cup quarter-final clash against Siwelele FC will take place in Polokwane on Sunday, November 8, 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00.

The announcement brings an end to uncertainty surrounding the venue for the important knockout fixture, allowing both clubs and their supporters to finalise preparations ahead of the encounter.

According to the club, Chiefs received official communication from the Premier Soccer League (PSL), confirming the arrangements for the quarter-final match. The Soweto giants also used the opportunity to call on their supporters to travel to Polokwane and rally behind the team as they pursue a place in the semi-finals.

In a message directed at the Amakhosi faithful, the club expressed excitement about the upcoming encounter and encouraged supporters to turn out in large numbers to create an energetic atmosphere at the stadium.

Chiefs are expected to receive considerable support from their travelling fans, given their large following across South Africa. The confirmation of the venue, date and kick-off time will also give supporters an opportunity to organise their trips ahead of Sunday's match.

For the Glamour Boys, the quarter-final presents an important opportunity to move closer to another major trophy. Having reached this stage of the competition, the club will be eager to deliver a convincing performance and secure qualification for the last four.

However, Siwelele FC will not be an easy opponent. The Free State-based side will also be determined to progress and could make life difficult for Chiefs as they attempt to eliminate one of South African football's biggest clubs from the competition.

The encounter is therefore expected to be a competitive affair, with both teams having plenty to play for. A victory would take either side one step closer to lifting the Carling Knockout Cup.

With the venue and match arrangements now officially confirmed, Chiefs will concentrate on their preparations, knowing that their supporters will be expecting a positive result when they take on Siwelele FC in Polokwane.
