CHELSEA is reportedly planning a January acquisition of defender Jacobo Ramon.
The young defender showcased his talent in Como’s recent Champions League victory over Manchester United.
At 21, Ramon has been part of the Serie A team since 2025, when he transitioned from Real Madrid.
The centre-back has made significant strides in Lombardy, contributing to the club’s qualification for the UCL last season.
The Daily Mail has mentioned that Ramon’s impressive performances have drawn attention from the Blues.
Ramon previously played under Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso during his time in Madrid’s youth setup.

According to reports, Chelsea is not the only Premier League club keen on his talents.
Manchester United and Arsenal have both shown interest in the Spain U21 international.
A transfer would be complicated due to Real Madrid holding a 50% sell-on clause.
The La Liga club is also rumored to possess a buy-back option for the defender, although the specifics remain undisclosed.

Chelsea has had their eye on Ramon for quite some time, dating back to January 2025.
The Blues initially targeted Jeremy Jacquet but lost out to Liverpool for the Frenchman.
Ramon did have a misstep during Como’s 3-1 win against Torino in Serie A on Tuesday night.
However, he redeemed himself by scoring the equalizer before Nico Paz and Martin Baturina secured the victory.
Manager Cesc Fabregas expressed pride in watching the young Spaniard’s resilience.
He noted, “There were numerous chances; we performed many things excellently and didn’t deserve to be behind.
“Perhaps we wouldn’t have won last season, but we have more options now.
“That shouldn’t make us complacent; instead, we need to concentrate on what still needs improvement.
“I admired the resilience; for instance, Jacobo Ramon made a significant error, but he kept his composure and went on to score the equalizer.
“That’s football for me—individuals with character who make mistakes but continue to push forward and aren’t paralyzed by fear.”
Chelsea faced a setback in defense during the Carabao Cup loss to Liverpool as Maxence Lacroix left the field with a hamstring injury.
Among Chelsea defenders, Lacroix has logged the most Premier League minutes this season with 634.
