Forca Kochi FC delivered a masterclass in challenging conditions at the EMS Corporation Stadium on Saturday, October 24, 2026, handing Calicut FC their first defeat of the campaign with a resounding 3-0 victory in the second game of the Round 5 fixtures of Super League Kerala.

After a delayed start to the game, Forca Kochi FC started the game with attacking intent, while Calicut FC struggled to drive the ball forward as the Forca Kochi half was submerged with rainwater. Forca Kochi, who capitalised on this, found the opener, courtesy of Alan Saji in the 34th minute.

In the second half, a red card to Mirshad Michu reduced Calicut to 10 men and the visitors punished this deficit by scoring two goals off Rahul Raju, who scored a brace and secured the victory for Forca Cruz. With this win, Forca Kochi FC have climbed to the top of the table, overthrowing Calicut FC.
