WWE Universe will be in for an exciting night as John Cena returns to Monday Night RAW in Brooklyn, New York next week. This will be Cena’s first appearance on the red brand since retiring from the ring last year, while his last WWE appearance was at Backlash 2026.

Moreover, The Last Real Champion could have some major tricks up his sleeve. Therefore, here are five things John Cena could do upon his return to RAW:

5. WWE Crown Jewel PLE appearance

John Cena is returning to WWE television a week before WWE’s next Premium Live Event, Crown Jewel 2026, which is set for November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

There is a possibility that Cena could announce that he will be making an appearance at the show, as Saudi Arabia is always appreciative of having major attractions for their shows.

4. WrestleMania 43 date announcement

Another interesting way John Cena could be a part of the Saudi Arabia festivities is to coincide with WrestleMania 43, taking place in Riyadh next year.

The Never Seen 17 could return to RAW and officially announce the dates for The Grandest Stage of Them All, which could be a memorable moment. WWE has not announced the dates for the two-night spectacle, and Cena could reveal the dates in his appearance.

3. Special Guest Referee for the Last Man Standing match

If John Cena becomes part of WWE Crown Jewel 2026 in Riyadh, he could be involved in one of the matches at the PLE in a non-wrestling role.

This could see Cena announce he’ll be the Special Guest Referee for the Last Man Standing match between two of his past rivals, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.

2. Revealing the John Cena Classic title

John Cena could have a major surprise for the WWE audience for his appearance on Monday Night RAW in Brooklyn next week.

It could be the unveiling of the John Cena Classic title, which WWE fans can decide who they want to hold, as Cena had announced earlier.

1. John Cena Classic tournament date

A major reason John Cena is coming back to RAW could be related to his upcoming event, The John Cena Classic, which he revealed during his last appearance at Backlash.

The Champ has stated that the unique tournament would start in December, and he could announce the exact date for the start of the event on RAW.
