Nigeria’s U23 national team, the Olympic Eagles, have commenced preparations for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tie against the Democratic Republic of Congo following the opening of their camp in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Players and officials began arriving at the team’s camp on Monday, marking the start of preparations for the two-legged encounter against their Congolese opponents.

The technical crew will use the coming days to assess the available players, build team cohesion and work on the tactical approach ahead of the decisive fixtures.
