Ampem Darkoa Ladies beat Uganda's Kawempe Muslim Ladies 2-1 to secure their second victory in Group B of the 2026 CAF Women's Champions League in Egypt.

The Ghanaian champions claimed all three points at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia on Thursday, with Beline Nyarkoh scoring a late winner to seal an important victory. Ampem Darkoa Ladies made an early breakthrough in the eighth minute when Nancy Amoh capitalised on a goalkeeping error to put her side ahead.

Kawempe Muslim Ladies responded strongly and restored parity in the 33rd minute through Nabirye Shadia, ensuring the two sides went into the break level. The Ugandan side continued to compete after the restart, but Ampem Darkoa Ladies found the decisive breakthrough seven minutes from time.

Beline Nyarkoh struck in the 83rd minute to restore the Ghanaian side's advantage and secure a 2-1 victory. The result strengthens Ampem Darkoa's position in Group B as they pursue a place in the semi-finals of the competition.

They will face Moroccan side AS FAR in their final group-stage fixture, with a place in the last four potentially at stake.
