According to a report by Daily Post on Wednesday, October 21, 2025, Nigerian international Victor Osimhen reportedly turned down a management offer from renowned football agent Jorge Mendes, insisting that his immediate priority remains his career at Galatasaray.
According to a report by Turkish journalist Ali Naci Küçük, published via Habersarikirmizi, the 27-year-old striker declined Mendes’ proposal, making it clear that he was fully focused on his current club.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray permanently from Italian Serie A side Napoli in 2025 after spending the 2024/2025 season on loan at the Turkish champions.
During his loan spell, the Super Eagles forward played a key role in Galatasaray’s Turkish Super Lig title triumph, prompting the club to secure his services on a permanent basis the following season.
The Nigerian striker attracted considerable interest from several European heavyweights during the last summer transfer window.
Among the clubs reportedly linked with him were Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
However, Osimhen ultimately remained at Galatasaray despite the reported interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs.
It remains uncertain whether the former Napoli forward will consider a move away from the Turkish side during the January 2027 transfer window or wait until the summer.
For now, the reported rejection of Mendes’ offer suggests that Osimhen is keen to maintain his focus on Galatasaray, although his future beyond the current season remains unclear.
