Here’s How the UCL Table Changed After Man United Lost 4-1, Arsenal Drew 2-2 and Madrid Won 4-1

According to a report from Sky Sports on October 21, 2026, the UEFA Champions League standings have shifted following Wednesday’s fixtures, with Manchester United losing 4-1 to Como, Arsenal drawing 2-2 with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid recording a convincing 4-1 victory over RB Leipzig.

The latest round of matches in the 2026/27 campaign produced several notable results as teams continued their fight for automatic qualification to the round of 16 and places in the knockout phase play-offs.

Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool maintained their strong starts with victories on Tuesday, taking their points totals to nine after winning their opening three matches. Both sides remain among the leading contenders in the league-phase standings.

Aston Villa also continued their impressive European campaign with a 3-1 win over Viking FK. The English side secured their third consecutive victory to reach nine points. Real Madrid matched that total after defeating RB Leipzig 4-1, strengthening their position near the top of the table.

Arsenal, meanwhile, claimed a valuable point against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. Eberechi Eze opened the scoring for the Gunners before Harry Kane helped Bayern get back into the contest. The German side subsequently took the lead through Kane’s penalty, but Declan Rice scored a late equaliser to secure a 2-2 draw.

The result took Arsenal to seven points from three matches, keeping Mikel Arteta’s side unbeaten in the competition.

Manchester United experienced a very different evening in Italy, suffering a heavy 4-1 defeat against Como. Nico Paz scored twice, while Anastasios Douvikas and Jacobo Ramon also found the net for the hosts. Joshua Zirkzee grabbed a late consolation, but it was not enough to prevent United from leaving empty-handed. The defeat left the English club with three points from their opening three matches.

Elsewhere, Galatasaray defeated Lille 4-2, Club Brugge recorded a 3-0 victory over Lens, and Inter Milan edged Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0. Real Betis also secured a narrow 1-0 win against Feyenoord, while LASK surprised Sporting CP with a 3-2 victory away from home.

Under the Champions League’s league-phase format, the eight teams finishing highest in the standings qualify directly for the round of 16. Clubs placed between ninth and 24th must compete in the knockout phase play-offs for a chance to reach the next stage.
