Enzo Fernández was simply sensational, producing a complete midfield performance and finding the back of the net in Manchester City’s victory over RB Leipzig. The Argentine international showed exactly why he is such an important player, combining technical quality, intelligence, physical commitment and attacking influence throughout the match. His goal was the perfect reward for an excellent individual display, as he played a major role in City's success.

What made his performance even more impressive was his contribution beyond the goal. Enzo recorded one key pass, registered one shot and won eight duels, demonstrating his determination to influence the game in every possible way. He was composed in possession, aggressive without the ball and constantly involved in the team's build-up play. His ability to compete, create and dictate the tempo made him a constant presence in midfield.

Defensively, he was equally outstanding, making three recoveries and winning all eight of his ground duels. Completing 100% of his attempted dribbles further highlighted his confidence, close control and ability to escape pressure. He brought energy, discipline and quality to every phase of the game.

A goal, impressive statistics and a Man of the Match performance. Enzo Fernández delivered when his team needed him most, proving that his influence goes far beyond scoring goals. A truly outstanding display from the Argentine maestro.
