Arsenal Predicted XI Vs Everton: Riccardo Calafiori Rested And Bukayo Saka Replacement Decided

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta could make several changes to his starting lineup when the Gunners host Everton in the Premier League on Saturday, with Riccardo Calafiori potentially rested and Eberechi Eze among the candidates to replace the injured Bukayo Saka.

According to a report by Football London on Friday, 23 October 2026, Arsenal could rotate their squad at the Emirates Stadium as they prepare for a demanding run of fixtures across multiple competitions.

The Gunners remain in contention for the Premier League title and could move to the top of the table if Manchester City drop points against Aston Villa.

With only three points and a six-goal difference separating Arsenal from first place, securing maximum points against Everton will be important.

Arteta acknowledged the challenge posed by Everton manager David Moyes, praising his experience and coaching ability ahead of the encounter.

Calafiori could be among the players given a rest, with Myles Lewis-Skelly and Piero Hincapie providing alternative options at left-back.

Ben White is also tipped to return at right-back, while William Saliba's continued absence could limit Arteta's options in central defence.

In midfield, Declan Rice could retain his place, although Lewis-Skelly and Mikel Merino are potential options as Arteta looks to manage the workload of his key players. Martin Odegaard is expected to feature in the attacking midfield role.

Saka's absence creates another selection decision, with Eze and Noni Madueke among the options available to support the attack. Eze strengthened his case for a starting role with his goal against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Viktor Gyokeres could also be rewarded with a starting place after his recent performances, although Kai Havertz remains an alternative for the centre-forward position.

One predicted lineup has David Raya in goal, with White, Ezri Konsa, Gabriel Magalhaes and Calafiori in defence. Rice and Lewis-Skelly would form the midfield partnership, while Madueke, Odegaard and Eze support Gyokeres.

An alternative selection features Raya, White, Gabriel, Cristhian Mosquera and Lewis-Skelly in defence, with Merino and Martin Zubimendi in midfield. Eze, Odegaard and Madueke would operate behind Gyokeres.
