UCL Table After Arsenal Drew 2-2

According to a report by BBC Sport on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, Arsenal played out an entertaining 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in their UEFA Champions League match at the Allianz Arena.

Mikel Arteta's men started the game with confidence and took the lead in the 25th minute when Eberechi Eze found the back of the net following a good pass from Martin Odegaard. The goal came after a VAR review, giving the visitors an important advantage against the German champions.

However, Bayern Munich responded strongly and restored parity ten minutes later through Alphonso Davies, who finished off a chance created by Harry Kane in the 35th minute. Arsenal tried to regain control before the break, but the home side held firm as both teams went into half-time level at 1-1.

The second half began with more attacking football, and Bayern Munich had a chance to take the lead when Dayot Upamecano's header was saved by David Raya. The hosts eventually moved ahead in the 61st minute after the referee awarded them a penalty for a handball by Jurrien Timber, with Kane calmly converting from the spot.

Arsenal refused to give up despite falling behind, and their efforts paid off in the 82nd minute when Declan Rice scored with a right-footed finish after receiving an assist from Viktor Gyokeres. The equaliser gave the visitors renewed hope as they pushed for a late winner, but Bayern's defence managed to keep them out until the final whistle.

The draw means Arsenal will take a point from a difficult away fixture, although Arteta may feel his side had enough chances to secure all three points. Bayern Munich also missed the opportunity to claim a home victory after leading in the second half.

With the result, Arsenal moved to seventh position on the UEFA Champions League table with seven points, while Bayern Munich climbed to 14th position with five points.
