According to a report by GOAL on Thursday October 22, 2026, Paris Saint-Germain are considering a surprise €50 million move for Bayer Leverkusen youngster Ibrahim Maza as they look to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia following his reported season-ending knee injury.
The Georgian winger's absence would represent a major setback for PSG manager Luis Enrique, who relies on his creativity, pace and ability to trouble defenders in the final third. The French champions could therefore turn to the January transfer window to strengthen their attacking options.
According to reports from Fichajes, PSG have identified Maza as a potential target. The 20-year-old Algerian international has impressed at Bayer Leverkusen with his technical ability and versatility, making him an attractive option for Enrique's side.
Maza has reportedly registered three goals and three assists in eight appearances across all competitions this season. His performances have attracted interest from several European clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester City and Atletico Madrid.
However, convincing Leverkusen to sell their highly rated youngster could prove difficult. The Bundesliga club are reportedly determined to keep him and are negotiating a new contract despite his current deal running until 2030.
PSG may need to offer around €50 million to test Leverkusen's resolve, although no official bid has been confirmed.
With Kvaratskhelia reportedly facing an extended spell on the sidelines, PSG could be forced to explore the market for reinforcements. Whether Maza becomes their preferred target remains to be seen, but his growing reputation has made him a player to watch ahead of January.
