According to a report by GOAL on Wednesday October 28, 2026, Harry Kane's wife, Kate, has shared an emotional tribute to the Bayern Munich striker after he won the 2026 Ballon d'Or in London on Monday night.
The England captain claimed football's most prestigious individual award after an outstanding season in which he scored 73 goals for club and country, beating competition from Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal.
Kate was present at the ceremony at the London Palladium to celebrate her husband's historic achievement. She later took to Instagram to express her pride in Kane, praising his dedication, resilience and determination throughout his career.
“Words can't even describe how proud I am of you. Your hard work, dedication and resilience are something I'm in awe of every single day,” she wrote.
“You deserve this more than anything, and I couldn't be prouder to stand by your side and watch you shine. Here's to you and all that's yet to come!”
Kane also paid tribute to his wife during his Ballon d'Or acceptance speech, describing Kate, his childhood sweetheart, as his best friend and biggest supporter.
The striker acknowledged the sacrifices she had made throughout his career and said his success would not have been possible without her support.
“You're my biggest supporter. I actually felt like you wanted this more than me myself,” Kane said.
The couple, who married in 2019, have four children: Ivy, Vivienne, Louis and Henry. Kane also dedicated part of his speech to them, explaining that he hoped to set a positive example through his work ethic and belief in himself.
Kane scored 61 goals for Bayern Munich last season, helping the German giants win the domestic double, while also contributing to England's third-place finish at the World Cup.
Following his Ballon d'Or triumph, the striker will now return to Germany focused on helping Bayern defend their trophies, with Kate's message looking ahead to further success in the years to come.
