Arsenal maintain contact with Real Madrid attacker over January loan move – report

According to a report by Madrid Universal on Sunday November 1, 2026, Arsenal are keeping in contact with the representatives of Real Madrid forward Endrick as they explore a potential loan move for the Brazilian during the January transfer window.

According to reports, Mikel Arteta's side are interested in bringing the 20-year-old to the Emirates Stadium to strengthen their attacking options for the second half of the season.

Arsenal are understood to be considering a loan deal that would include an option to make the transfer permanent. However, that proposal could prove difficult because Real Madrid are reluctant to lose control of the highly rated youngster.

Los Blancos would reportedly prefer to sanction a straightforward loan without a purchase option, as they continue to view Endrick as an important part of their long-term plans.

The Brazilian has struggled to secure regular playing time under Jose Mourinho this season, starting just one La Liga match. He was also left on the bench during Real Madrid's Clasico meeting with Barcelona.

Competition for attacking places has made opportunities difficult to come by, with Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Yan Diomande among the players ahead of him in the pecking order.

Endrick needs regular minutes to continue his development, and a temporary departure could provide him with the opportunity to gain valuable experience.

Arsenal are not the only club monitoring his situation, with Italian sides AC Milan and Roma also reportedly interested in securing his services on loan. Unlike the Gunners, both clubs are said to be willing to accept Real Madrid's preferred arrangement.

Endrick rejected several approaches during the summer, while Mourinho made clear his desire to keep the forward in Madrid.

Despite that stance, his limited involvement could force the Spanish giants to reconsider their options ahead of January.

Arsenal's interest highlights the reputation Endrick still enjoys in European football, but the potential move will depend on whether the Premier League club can reach an agreement with Real Madrid over the conditions of the loan.
