Here’s How the Premier League Table Looks After Arsenal Won 1-0 and Man City Suffered 3-1 Defeat

According to a report by Sky Sports on November 7, 2026, Arsenal moved further ahead at the top of the Premier League table after beating Hull City 1-0, while Manchester City suffered a disappointing 3-1 defeat against Nottingham Forest.

The results have brought another important development in the title race, as Mikel Arteta's team took advantage of City's loss to increase their lead at the top of the standings.

Arsenal hosted Hull City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon, with the Gunners hoping to secure all three points and strengthen their position in the title race.

The North London side eventually found the winning goal through Martin Ødegaard, who scored in the 72nd minute to give Arsenal a 1-0 victory.

Although Hull City defended well and made things difficult for their hosts, Arsenal eventually broke through their defence and protected their lead until the end of the match.

The victory took Arsenal's points tally to 27 from their first 10 Premier League matches, putting them six points ahead of Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola's Manchester City suffered another disappointing result in their away match against Nottingham Forest.

Forest delivered an impressive performance to secure a 3-1 victory. Jair Cunha and Liam Delap scored to put the home side in a strong position before Rayan Cherki pulled one back for City.

However, Delap scored his second goal of the match to complete his brace and confirm an important victory for Nottingham Forest.

The result leaves Manchester City with 21 points, six behind league leaders Arsenal. It also marks their third consecutive defeat in the Premier League.

In another match, Leeds United secured a 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, with Noah Okafor scoring the only goal. The result moved Leeds above Tottenham into eighth position on the league table.

Fulham and Newcastle United also played out a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage, with both teams sharing the points.

Following Saturday's matches, Arsenal remain in a strong position at the top of the Premier League, while Manchester City are under increasing pressure to improve their results and avoid falling further behind in the title race.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Brighton and Manchester United are among the teams expected to play on Sunday, November 8. Their results could bring further changes to the Premier League table before the weekend comes to an end.
