According to a report by Madrid Universal on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Real Madrid players have reportedly praised Aurelien Tchouameni and Arda Guler for their impressive progress under manager Jose Mourinho.

Both players have earned respect within the dressing room for their professionalism, dedication and improved attitudes as the Spanish giants continue to recover their form.

Real Madrid have enjoyed an impressive turnaround following a challenging start to the season. Mourinho's tactical changes have helped restore confidence within the team, which has now won its last six matches in all competitions.

Journalist Juanfe Sanz revealed on El Chiringuito that Tchouameni and Guler have particularly impressed their teammates with their conduct and commitment. Their dedication to their responsibilities has reportedly made them positive role models within the squad.

Tchouameni is gradually establishing himself as a dressing-room leader despite not officially wearing the captain's armband. The French midfielder has earned considerable admiration for his strong work ethic and determination to maintain his physical fitness.

According to Sanz, the 26-year-old regularly spends extra time in the gym, highlighting his professionalism and commitment to improving himself. His importance has also increased on the pitch, where he has developed an effective midfield partnership with Bernardo Silva.

While Silva brings composure, excellent passing and control to the midfield, Tchouameni offers defensive stability and takes responsibility for the more demanding defensive duties in the middle of the pitch.

Meanwhile, Guler has also been praised for his significant improvement in mental maturity. The Turkish international has reportedly made considerable progress in his attitude, professionalism and approach to training compared with previous seasons.

His development has been reflected in his performances, with the 21-year-old becoming one of Mourinho's key attacking options. He has also emerged as an important creative force, ranking among the leading players in several La Liga statistics related to chance creation.

Both footballers have previously faced uncertainty over their futures at Real Madrid. However, their recent improvement has strengthened their standing within the squad.

Tchouameni and Guler will miss Wednesday's Champions League clash against AEK Athens after Mourinho decided to give them a rest.
