Premier League Table After Chelsea Won 2-0, Man City Lost 1-0 and Tottenham Won 2-0

CHELSEA VS MANCHESTER UNITED

Chelsea secured a 2-0 victory over Manchester United following an impressive second-half performance at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The first half ended goalless despite opportunities for both sides. Manchester United thought they had taken the lead through Matheus Cunha, but VAR ruled out his effort for offside.

Chelsea broke the deadlock five minutes after the restart when Morgan Rogers produced a brilliant finish, lifting the ball over Senne Lammens. Manchester United's hopes suffered another setback when Lisandro Martinez received a second yellow card in the 63rd minute.

Cole Palmer converted the resulting penalty to double Chelsea's advantage. Estêvão later thought he had added a third, but his effort was disallowed for offside after another VAR review.

Despite late attempts from Manchester United to get back into the contest, Chelsea held firm to secure all three points and condemn their opponents to a disappointing defeat.

MANCHESTER CITY VS BRIGHTON

Brighton claimed a crucial 1-0 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, handing Pep Guardiola's side a disappointing defeat.

Yasin Ayari scored the decisive goal in the 11th minute after receiving a pass from Maxim De Cuyper before calmly finding the bottom corner. Manchester City struggled to find an equaliser despite creating several opportunities.

Iliman Ndiaye missed promising chances, while Erling Haaland was also denied by Brighton's defence and goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen. The visitors remained organised after the break and successfully frustrated City's attacking efforts.

Despite late pressure from the hosts, Brighton held on to secure all three points and complete an impressive away victory.

TOTTENHAM VS CRYSTAL PALACE

Tottenham secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday after Jean-Philippe Mateta was sent off in the first half at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The visitors were reduced to 10 men in the 13th minute when VAR upgraded Mateta's yellow card to a straight red following a dangerous tackle. Tottenham capitalised on their numerical advantage, with Archie Gray opening the scoring in the 25th minute through a well-placed header from Mohammed Kudus' corner.

Spurs dominated proceedings after the break but initially struggled to extend their lead. Jan Paul van Hecke eventually made it 2-0 in the 73rd minute, reacting quickest to a rebound inside the penalty area.

Tottenham maintained their control until the final whistle to claim all three points and complete a convincing home victory.
