Arsenal have maintained their position at the top of the Premier League table following their narrow victory over Hull City, while Everton and Leeds United have also made progress after securing important wins on Saturday.
According to a report by BBC Sport on Saturday, November 7, 2026, the latest round of fixtures brought changes to the standings, with Tottenham Hotspur dropping points after losing 1-0 to Leeds United and Everton recording a 3-1 triumph over Coventry City.
Arsenal remain first with 27 points from 10 matches, having recorded nine victories and suffered just one defeat. Their latest three points came courtesy of Martin Ødegaard’s second-half goal against Hull City.
Manchester City occupy second place with 21 points from nine games. Pep Guardiola’s side have an opportunity to reduce the gap when they face Nottingham Forest later on Saturday.
Brighton and Hove Albion are third with 19 points, while Chelsea sit fourth on 16 points.
Everton have moved into fifth position after reaching 16 points from 10 matches. David Moyes’ team strengthened their standing with a 3-1 victory over Coventry City.
Liverpool are sixth with 15 points, while Brentford follow in seventh place with 14 points.
Leeds United have climbed to eighth after defeating Tottenham 1-0 at Elland Road. Noah Okafor scored the decisive goal, taking Leeds to 14 points.
Bournemouth occupy ninth position with 12 points, level with Tottenham, who have fallen to tenth following their defeat.
Aston Villa are eleventh with 12 points, while Hull City sit twelfth with 11 points after failing to earn anything from their visit to Arsenal.
Newcastle United are thirteenth with 11 points, level with Ipswich Town in fourteenth. Fulham occupy fifteenth place with nine points, while Coventry City are sixteenth with the same number of points.
Manchester United remain seventeenth on seven points, with Crystal Palace directly below them in eighteenth place, also on seven points. Nottingham Forest are nineteenth with six points, while Sunderland occupy the bottom position with five points.
The latest results have strengthened Arsenal’s position at the summit, while Everton’s victory has lifted them into the top five. Leeds have also benefited from Tottenham’s defeat as the battle for European qualification continues.
However, Manchester City’s outstanding fixture against Nottingham Forest could affect the points gap at the top before the weekend’s action is completed.
