According to a report by Barca Universal on Wednesday November 4, 2026, Barcelona forwards Raphinha and Lamine Yamal have established themselves as Europe's most dangerous attacking partnership, with their outstanding performances producing remarkable numbers for Hansi Flick's side this season.
The attacking duo were once again at the centre of attention during Barcelona's 3-0 victory over Aston Villa in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
Raphinha scored twice, while Yamal also found the back of the net as Barcelona secured an impressive victory following consecutive defeats against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
However, their contributions against Aston Villa were another indication of the remarkable understanding they have developed this season.
According to statistics reported by Barca Universal, Raphinha and Yamal have combined for 32 goals and 14 assists across La Liga and the Champions League.
Their 46 direct goal contributions place them ahead of several prominent attacking partnerships across Europe.
The most remarkable statistic is their influence on Barcelona's overall attacking production. The pair have been involved in 42 of the club's 60 goals this season, accounting for an impressive 70 per cent of the team's total output.
Raphinha has been particularly prolific in front of goal, scoring 19 goals in 13 appearances across competitions.
The Brazilian has enjoyed an outstanding start to the La Liga campaign, registering 12 goals in his first seven matchdays and surpassing Lionel Messi's previous Barcelona record of 11 goals during the opening seven matches of the 2017-18 season.
His movement, pressing intensity and ability to finish chances have made him one of Flick's most important attacking players.
Meanwhile, Yamal has continued to demonstrate why he is regarded as one of the most exciting young footballers in the world.
The Spanish international has contributed 13 goals and 11 assists, combining his goalscoring ability with exceptional creativity.
His goal against Aston Villa also took his Champions League tally to 14, making him the highest-scoring teenager in the competition's history. He moved past Kylian Mbappe, who previously held the record with 13 goals before turning 20.
The relationship between the two Barcelona attackers has also become increasingly effective.
Yamal has repeatedly created opportunities for Raphinha, including providing two assists for the Brazilian during Barcelona's victory over Sevilla. Raphinha has also returned the favour by setting up his teammate against Levante.
Their contrasting qualities make them particularly difficult for opposition defenders to contain. While Raphinha offers relentless movement, aggressive pressing and a significant goalscoring threat, Yamal relies on his close control, creativity and ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations.
Their numbers also compare favourably with other leading attacking partnerships in European football.
Bayern Munich's Harry Kane and Michael Olise have combined for 22 goals and 16 assists, giving them 38 direct goal contributions.
At Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappe and Diomandé have reportedly registered 19 goals and seven assists between them.
Barcelona's duo therefore lead the comparison with their 46 combined contributions.
For Flick, having two attackers operating at such a high level provides a major advantage as Barcelona continue their pursuit of silverware this season.
However, their extraordinary involvement in the team's goals also highlights how important it is for other attacking players to contribute consistently.
With Raphinha and Yamal continuing to deliver goals and assists, Barcelona have developed one of the most feared attacking combinations in European football.
