According to a report by Madrid Universal on Wednesday October 28, 2026, La Liga has referred 17 incidents from Sunday’s El Clásico between Barcelona and Real Madrid to the Spanish Football Federation’s Disciplinary Committee and the Anti-Violence Commission following the visitors’ 2-1 victory at the Spotify Camp Nou.
According to a report highlighted by El Partidazo de COPE, ten of the incidents involved Barcelona supporters, while the remaining seven concerned travelling Real Madrid fans.
Among the most serious incidents was an alleged assault on Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga during celebrations following Kylian Mbappe’s second goal of the match.
The report stated that a spectator in Barcelona’s Grada Gol 1957 section struck the French midfielder with a flag. Barcelona’s security staff reportedly identified the individual, with the club preparing to expel the supporter under its internal regulations.
The match also witnessed objects being thrown towards the pitch, including bottles, cans, lighters and a vaping device, after Mbappe scored.
Although none of the objects reportedly hit Real Madrid players, the referee temporarily stopped the game for one minute and 20 seconds. A stadium announcement was subsequently made, urging supporters to stop throwing objects onto the pitch.
Barcelona supporters were also reported for offensive chants directed at Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella, former Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, Real Madrid and the club’s fans. The chant targeting Cucurella was reportedly heard on two occasions.
However, La Liga clarified that the incidents involving Barcelona supporters were concentrated in specific sections of the stadium, with the rest of the home crowd behaving appropriately.
Real Madrid supporters were also mentioned in the report, with seven incidents involving travelling fans who repeatedly directed an offensive chant at Barcelona.
