Barcelona Expect El Clasico Store Sales Record as Lamine Yamal Shirts Lead Demand

Barcelona are hoping to break their merchandise sales record when they welcome Real Madrid to Spotify Camp Nou for Sunday’s El Clasico, with Lamine Yamal emerging as the club’s biggest attraction among supporters.

According to a report by Barca Universal on Saturday, October 24, 2026, the Catalan giants expect revenue from their official merchandise store to exceed the €750,000 record set during last season’s meeting between the two Spanish rivals.

The club’s optimism has been boosted by Barcelona’s recent performances, growing interest in their players and the introduction of an exclusive collection for the highly anticipated fixture.

According to Ferran Correas of SPORT, Barcelona are preparing for a potentially historic day of commercial activity. The club also expects ticket revenue to surpass the €16.4 million generated during last season’s corresponding El Clasico.

Barcelona established their previous merchandise sales record during that encounter, when their shirt featured Colombian singer Olivia Rodrigo as part of a special Spotify collaboration. The team also celebrated a 2-0 victory, with Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres getting on the scoresheet.

Recent sales figures have further strengthened the club’s expectations. Barcelona generated more than €600,000 in merchandise revenue during their La Liga meeting with Getafe, making it one of the three most successful sales days in the store’s history.

Sunday’s fixture will also feature a special merchandise collection carrying the GOLF branding associated with American rapper and designer Tyler, The Creator. The Spotify collaboration includes a limited-edition shirt and other items that have already attracted considerable attention from supporters.

Meanwhile, Yamal remains Barcelona’s most popular player in terms of shirt sales, comfortably leading the rankings ahead of his teammates.

Pedri occupies second position, with captain Raphinha also enjoying strong demand. Pau Cubarsi follows, while Rodri is reportedly the most popular among Barcelona’s new signings.

Fermin Lopez has also experienced a rise in popularity, with demand for his shirt now challenging that of Gavi.

Interestingly, Robert Lewandowski continues to attract interest from Barcelona supporters despite completing his summer move to Chicago Fire. The club still receives requests for shirts bearing the Polish striker’s name, particularly from fans in Poland.

With the excitement surrounding El Clasico, the exclusive merchandise collection and Yamal’s growing popularity, Barcelona are confident that Sunday’s encounter could deliver their biggest merchandise sales figures yet.
