According to a report by Madrid Universal on Friday October 23, 2026, Real Madrid youngster Enzo Alves is making significant progress towards a potential first-team breakthrough after impressing with the club’s academy.
According to reports, the 17-year-old striker, who is the son of former Los Blancos defender Marcelo, is attracting interest across Europe after scoring more than 150 goals for the Spanish giants.
His latest impressive performance came against RB Leipzig in the UEFA Youth League on October 21. Enzo opened the scoring in the 15th minute during Real Madrid’s 5-2 victory. The result extended the reigning champions’ winning run to three consecutive matches in the competition.
The teenager is gradually establishing his identity as a promising attacking talent. Although comparisons with his famous father remain inevitable, Enzo is developing a different playing style as a centre-forward. His movement, positioning and finishing ability have helped him stand out among the club’s emerging prospects.
His development at Valdebebas has accelerated throughout 2026. After making his UEFA Youth League debut in November 2025, he continued progressing through the academy ranks. His performances at different youth levels have further strengthened his reputation as a prolific goalscorer.
Real Madrid demonstrated their confidence in his potential by handing him his first professional contract in January. The agreement reflected the club’s determination to secure the future of a youngster who had already gained experience across several academy teams.
Former Castilla coach Alvaro Arbeloa previously offered Enzo opportunities to compete at a higher level before moving into the senior coaching structure. However, earning a permanent place in Real Madrid’s first team remains a long-term objective for the teenager.
His next opportunity could arrive at international level during the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Qatar, scheduled for November 19 to December 13, 2026. Enzo is tipped to feature for Spain’s youth setup.
Although considerable work remains before he can break into the senior squad, his goalscoring record, recent European performance and professional contract underline Real Madrid’s belief in his potential.
