According to a report by Flashscore on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, Nigeria's Flamingos have started showing attacking intent in their FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup semi-final encounter against Brazil, with Oluwakemi Adegbuyi and Oluebube Umejiaku both attempting efforts on goal.
The two Nigerian forwards have tested Brazil's defensive organisation as the Flamingos search for an early breakthrough in the highly anticipated encounter at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, Pitch 3, in Rabat, Morocco.
By the 18th minute, however, neither team had managed to find the back of the net, with the scoreline remaining 0-0.
Adegbuyi and Umejiaku are among Nigeria's important attacking players in the competition, and their involvement in the early attacking moves offers encouragement to the Nigerian side.
Both forwards will be expected to make good use of their pace, movement and goalscoring abilities to create problems for the Brazilian defence.
Nigeria entered the semi-final with confidence after defeating Venezuela 1-0 in the quarter-finals. Captain Azeezat Oduntan scored the decisive goal from the penalty spot in the 89th minute after Umejiaku was fouled inside the penalty area.
However, Brazil are also a dangerous opponent, having reached the semi-finals after defeating China PR 2-1 in their previous match.
The stakes are particularly high because the winner will advance to the final to face Japan, who have already secured their place in the championship match.
The Flamingos will therefore be hoping to convert their attacking opportunities into goals as they pursue a historic first appearance in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup final.
