According to a report by Football London on Monday, 2 November 2026, Arsenal have strengthened their position in the Premier League title race after securing a crucial 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield, opening up a three-point lead over Manchester City.
Mikel Arteta's side moved further clear at the top following Kai Havertz's first-half winner against Liverpool.
The result ended Arsenal's 14-year wait for a Premier League victory at Anfield and came at an important moment in the title race.
Manchester City's consecutive league defeats, including their latest loss to Brighton, have given the Gunners an opportunity to establish an advantage.
Arsenal will now turn their attention to their remaining fixtures before the end of the year, with several challenging encounters ahead.
Their next assignment is against newly promoted Hull City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, November 7.
Arteta's team will then travel to face Newcastle United on November 21 before hosting Manchester City on November 29 in what could prove to be a significant meeting in the title race.
The Gunners will also face Brentford away on December 2 before travelling to Tottenham for the north London derby on December 6.
Manchester City have a different set of challenges during the same period. Pep Guardiola's side will visit Nottingham Forest on November 7 before welcoming Fulham on November 21.
Their trip to Arsenal on November 29 will be followed by a home meeting with Leeds United on December 2 and an away fixture against Brentford on December 5.
Both clubs also have demanding Champions League commitments. Arsenal are scheduled to face Slavia Praha, Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid, while City will take on RB Leipzig, Napoli and Barcelona.
With Arsenal holding a three-point advantage, their upcoming league meetings could have a major influence on the destination of the Premier League title.
