Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has rewarded her former grassroots coach, Emmanuel Osahon Orobosa of FC Robo International, with a brand-new Toyota Highlander in appreciation of his role in her football career.

FC Robo announced the gesture in a statement, praising the Nigerian football star for remembering the people who helped her develop her talent before becoming one of Africa’s most successful female footballers.

Orobosa, who is the founder, chairman and head coach of FC Robo International, played an important role in developing Oshoala’s career from her teenage years. He has supported her football journey since 2009.

The club described the car gift as a show of gratitude and loyalty, saying Oshoala had remained connected to the people who helped her succeed despite her achievements on the international stage.“Your presentation of a Toyota Highlander to Coach Osahon is a beautiful demonstration of gratitude and a reminder that you have not forgotten the people who played important roles in your journey,” the club said.

FC Robo recalled that Orobosa guided and supported Oshoala during her early years in football, providing an environment where she could develop her talent and pursue her dreams despite the challenges she faced.

The club said the coach had been part of her journey since 2009, when she was still a teenager and beginning to attract attention because of her football skills.

FC Robo also recalled Oshoala’s earlier support for the club, particularly her donation of a bus during her early years in Europe.

It described the latest gift as another example of her commitment to the grassroots club and the people who helped build her career.

According to the club, the value of such gifts goes beyond the money involved, as they show appreciation for the people who contributed to a person’s success.

Oshoala’s relationship with Orobosa began when she was still trying to convince her family to allow her to pursue football professionally.
