Nigerian forwards Victor Osimhen and Gift Orban are joint leaders in the Turkish Super Lig Golden Boot race after scoring for their clubs last weekend.

Osimhen continued his impressive scoring form by finding the net in Galatasaray’s 4-0 away win over Konyaspor on Friday.

Orban also had an outstanding performance for Amedspor on Sunday. He scored one goal and provided an assist in his team’s 5-1 victory over Eyupspor.

Both Nigerian players have now scored nine goals each, placing them at the top of the league’s scoring chart.

However, Orban has an advantage over Osimhen in assists. He has provided four assists, while Osimhen has recorded three.

Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah is close behind the Nigerian duo with eight goals for Trabzonspor, just one goal short of the joint leaders.
