The Super Eagles star has featured regularly for the Italian side this season, making eight appearances across all competitions and providing two assists.

His pace, dribbling ability and attacking creativity have made him an option for Milan in the final third. His absence could therefore limit the team’s choices on the wings while he recovers.

Chukwueze joined AC Milan from Spanish club Villarreal in 2023 and has continued to compete for a regular place in the team.

The winger will now focus on his recovery, with further medical examinations expected to provide a clearer picture of when he can resume training and return to competitive football.
