Callum Hudson-Odoi is in danger of becoming a forgotten man at Nottingham Forest after a pretty inactive start to the season.

Oliver Glasner’s 3-4-2-1 system doesn’t typically cater too much for wingers, and when Hudson-Odoi has received time on the pitch, it’s been as a number 10.

Hudson-Odoi does need to improve his output in the way of goals and assists, but as a starting point, it would be nice to see him out on the pitch a little bit more often.

Very few players carry the ball quite like Hudson-Odoi, and ahead of Forest’s clash with Manchester City on Saturday, the winger has sent a defiant message to the club’s fan base.

What Callum Hudson-Odoi has urged Forest fans to do

The Forest star is a big influence inside the dressing room, and ultimately he’s now come out as the team’s spokesperson amid a really bad run of form.

Forest can’t buy a goal on home soil, and with November now upon us, the Reds still haven’t found the net in any home match this season.

Hudson-Odoi doesn’t want fans to panic, however, and has sent a short and sweet message to the City Ground fan base on Instagram which reads: “Let’s keep going.”

After just nine games of the campaign, it would be foolish for Forest to throw the towel in, and the Reds just need to gain a more ruthless streak to get on the right track.

The Reds have to maintain their belief as a squad. Giving up with so many points to play for would be very foolish, and hopefully a positive performance can be evident at the weekend.
