Thomas Tuchel has included both Bellingham brothers in his latest England squad, with the midfielders now having the chance to become the 22nd set of siblings to play for the national team

Jobe Bellingham is a brilliant feel good story for England.

His call-up should not be a shock based on his form for Borussia Dortmund this season and he also captained the England under-21s in the last camp. Jobe has earned this in his own right but it is eye-catching because he is now in the squad alongside his older brother Jude.

Incredibly, they could become the 22nd set of brothers to play for England and the first since the Nevilles to play in the same team. The last set of brothers to represent England is a great quiz question which you will never get without Googling it.

Trevoh Chalobah and Nathaniel Chalobah played for England but at different times. Nathaniel was a big hope under Gareth Southgate and it never quite worked out while Trevoh went to the last World Cup.

But the Bellinghams are something quite different. Jude is up to 60 caps - with 14 goals - for England and was the standout player at the last World Cup, scoring a record seven goals in a single tournament.

Make sure you don't miss the best England coverage by making the Daily Mirror one of your Google preferred sources.

Bellingham’s goal against AEK Athens in midweek was incredible - a volley back heel - which just showed his talent, confidence and the remarkable form he is in.

He was great in the summer, making himself one of the best in the world and is surely a future Ballon d’Or winner in the future. What a talent. England are blessed with one of the best players in the world - and Jobe is doing very nicely, thank you.

Jobe has taken a similar route to Jude in going to Dortmund and it takes real guts to go abroad, push yourself out of a comfort zone at such a young age.

The love and respect between the two brothers is so heart warming. Just look at the way they support each other - and that runs through the whole family.

As does footballing talent because even their dad Mark scored seven for the England over-50s veterans team in a 13-1 victory against the Republic of Ireland.

Mark was a prolific striker at non-league - even branded the non-league Pele - and their mum Denise is also so supportive in what has become a brilliant football family.

They are fiercely protective of their boys, they are incredibly careful - ruthless even - when it comes to the media but, in reality, fans don’t always understand that because both boys speak brilliantly on camera.

But how can you possibly argue with how they have been guided when they are both so incredibly successful in their footballing careers? They have had brilliant support and guidance.

You can see Denise alongside Jude as they drive out of the Real Madrid training ground, the England star signing every autograph as he goes.

Long after the final whistle after England’s win in Czech Republic, there was Jude Bellingham signing every autograph, posing for every selfie, for an army of autograph hunters as every stadium worker swarmed around him.

He was so gracious, respectful and warm. Not many players do that and that talks to his upbringing, class and intelligence.

Jobe won jointly the North East Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year a couple of seasons ago. His mum and dad went with him and there was Jobe, smiling and friendly to talk to while also being so nice to every person who came up.

They are a class act - brought up with real family values.

If you saw Jobe against Bayern last weekend then this call-up should be no surprise. He was outstanding. After Dortmund beat Real Betis in midweek, Jobe stopped for interviews and was bright, intelligent and articulate.

There is a wonderful clip on social media of Jobe naming every Champions League finalist for the past few decades. His football knowledge is amazing. He just lives, breathes and loves football.

Jude has gone to superstardom lately because of his performances for England and Real Madrid. He has worked hard for this.

His latest advert campaign for Calvin Klein - plastered all over billboards - is something to behold. He is incredibly marketable. But it leaves the rest of us just asking… Jude, for Gawd’s sake, give the rest of us a chance.

He is bright, good looking, brilliant at football. So well mannered. And that goes for Jobe too. What I love about them is they support each other brilliantly. They cheer each other on, they get behind each other, it’s so warm and inspiring.

Yes, the family are guarded but they also make smart decisions. Just look at Jude. It would have been easy to go to a Manchester United or Arsenal after his success at Dortmund. But Dortmund was a great stepping stone - and gave him the experience and games he needed for Real Madrid.

It was a huge call for Jobe to leave Sunderland and follow Jude’s footsteps to Dortmund. But it has worked out brilliantly.

This is such a good story for English football. And we should celebrate it as a brilliant landmark moment.
