At the heart of the set-up, the Mohammed VI Complex brings together high-level pitches, on-site accommodation, catering, physical preparation and sports medicine.

It gives the 24 participating teams training and match conditions that meet the most demanding standards, within a centralised format that also allows fans to watch several matches on the same day.

Morocco is hosting the competition for five consecutive editions, from 2025 to 2029.

This continuity allows the country to build on its organizational expertise ahead of the 2030 World Cup, which it will co-host with Spain and Portugal.

For African football, staging the tournament on the continent carries special significance.

It gives young African players international visibility and a top-class competitive environment, as this edition’s unprecedented results show: Morocco, Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya have reached the round of 16, four of the continent’s five representatives, a first in the tournament’s history.
