Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, will be hoping to extend his impressive scoring run when Galatasaray host Stuttgart in today’s UEFA Champions League clash at RAMS Park.
Osimhen has scored 10 goals in all competitions this season, including nine in the Turkish Super Lig, and will be eager to add to his tally against the German visitors.
The Nigerian had scored in the 12th minute before making way. Galatasaray are 23rd in the Champions League standings with three points, while unbeaten Stuttgart occupy sixth position with seven points.
The Turkish champions lost their opening two matches against Sporting CP and Barcelona before recovering with a 4-2 victory over Lille, with Osimhen scoring against his former club.
The striker will hope to improve on his disappointing display against Barcelona, where he was caught offside six times. Better timing of his runs and greater composure in front of goal will be important against Stuttgart, who are also comfortable playing a high defensive line.
