Paris Saint-Germain have maintained their position at the summit of the UEFA Champions League standings following Wednesday's fixtures, with Real Madrid and Arsenal completing the top three after four rounds of matches.
The French champions lead the league phase with 12 points and an impressive goal difference of +15. PSG have recorded four consecutive victories, making them one of the strongest contenders for automatic qualification to the knockout stages.
Real Madrid occupy second position with 12 points as well, although their goal difference of +6 leaves them behind the reigning European champions.
Arsenal are third with 10 points after securing a crucial 2-1 victory against Slavia Prague. The Gunners have registered three wins and one draw, scoring eight goals while conceding only three.
Their latest success was inspired by Viktor Gyokeres, who contributed a goal and an assist to help Mikel Arteta's side collect maximum points in Prague.
Como are surprisingly fourth with nine points following their remarkable 9-1 demolition of Lens. Their goal difference of +13 is the best outside the top three.
Barcelona and Aston Villa occupy fifth and sixth positions respectively, with both clubs also collecting nine points.
Manchester City are seventh after defeating RB Leipzig 3-2 in Germany. Pep Guardiola's men have accumulated nine points from four matches, recording three victories and one defeat.
Liverpool are eighth with the same number of points despite suffering a disappointing 3-2 defeat against Fenerbahce.
Club Brugge, Sporting CP, Real Betis and Borussia Dortmund complete the top 12 with nine points each.
Meanwhile, Slovan Bratislava remain bottom of the standings without a single point after losing all four matches.
With four matches remaining, the competition remains wide open, and several clubs will be hoping to improve their positions before the knockout stage.
