João Pedro is becoming an increasingly important player at Chelsea after making an impressive start to the 2026/27 Premier League season. The Brazilian forward has demonstrated his ability to score goals and create opportunities for his teammates, giving Chelsea another attacking option under manager Xabi Alonso.

The 24-year-old has already scored five Premier League goals this season and provided three assists, showing that his contribution goes beyond finding the back of the net. His performances have helped Chelsea strengthen their attack as they seek to remain competitive in the Premier League.

Pedro recently returned from an injury absence and made an immediate impact by scoring twice in Chelsea’s 5-1 victory over Bournemouth on October 10. His performance highlighted his finishing ability and importance to the team’s attacking plans. <Cite refs={["turn646764search1","turn646764search2"]}/>

Although Pedro did not score in Chelsea’s subsequent 2-0 win against Everton, he played his part as the Blues collected another three points. Pedro Neto scored both goals in that match, demonstrating the attacking strength Chelsea can call upon. <Cite refs={["turn646764search0","turn646764news19"]}/>

Chelsea will now turn their attention to their London derby against Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on October 24. Pedro’s movement, finishing and link-up play could be important as Chelsea prepare for the challenge.

For Pedro, the priority will be maintaining his fitness and consistency. If he continues delivering goals and assists, he could remain one of Chelsea’s most influential attacking players throughout the campaign.
