ERLING HAALAND was spotted giving one of his Manchester City team-mates a rollicking in their defeat to Aston Villa.
City suffered their first league loss of the season in a lacklustre display at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon.
A brace from Nicolas Jackson fired Villa to a 2-1 win and ended the Etihad club’s 100 per cent start to the Prem season.
Jackson struck in the sixth minute with a sumptuous finish into the roof of the net.
Haaland was fired up after Jackson’s opener, so much so he that let rip at Gianluigi Donnarumma in the 33nd minute.
After the keeper steamed out of his goal to give his two cents ahead of a Villa free kick, Haaland angrily gestured towards the Italian to get back between the sticks.
Footage of the exchange spread like wildfire on social media, with one viewer saying: “Haaland pulling rank on the keeper mid-game is so on brand for him.
“LMAO get back in net don’t make me come over there.”
Another said: “Haaland really out here giving goalkeeping lectures mid-match, wild.”
And another said: “Haaland is lowkey turning into an actual dictator.”
Haaland got City back on level terms with a thumping header in the 52nd minute.
But Jackson restored Villa’s lead eight minutes with a tame shot at goal, which Donnarumma should’ve saved.
After the final whistle, Maresca said: “For sure, we deserve something more from the game.
“We created enough chances to score more goals.
“Unfortunately we concede just one shot in the second half and they score. Hopefully we can learn from that and try to move on.
“In this kind of stadium, you always have to be ready.
“We concede the first goal from a mistake and then after that we control the game, especially the second half.
“We fought until the end and that was very good.
“The spirit was good, we can take something from that and we’ll move on.”
City will be back in action on Wednesday, welcoming Brighton to the Etihad for their Carabao Cup fourth-round clash.
