The Green Bay Packers' Week 12 showdown with the Los Angeles Rams on Thanksgiving Eve appears to be the likely return date of All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Packers and Parsons are targeting Nov. 25 for his return, and he is expected to return to practice next week to begin the next step of his return-to-play process. The plan is for Parsons to ramp up from individual drills to team drills over the next few weeks.
Parsons has missed the first eight games of the regular season and will likely miss at least two more before he returns. Returning against the Rams would give Parsons a chance to play the final seven regular season games, possibly powering a playoff push for the Packers.
Parsons had 12.5 sacks and was leading the NFL in pressures when he tore his ACL against the Denver Broncos on Dec. 14. He had surgery to repair the ACL and his meniscus in late December.
