No. 17 Texas A&M volleyball returns to SEC action Friday night, traveling to Nashville to face nationally ranked Vanderbilt at Memorial Gym in another important conference matchup.
The Aggies enter the contest 14-9 overall and 7-4 in SEC play following a three-set loss to No. 14 Texas on Sunday. The defeat snapped Texas A&M's four-match winning streak, which included an impressive four-set victory over No. 6 Tennessee and a sweep of No. 4 Kentucky.
Natalie Ring led Texas A&M with 10 kills against the Longhorns, while Kaia Castle added five blocks. Castle earned SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors after recording 17 blocks across the Aggies' two matches against Tennessee and Texas, including a season-high 12 against the Volunteers.
Vanderbilt enters Friday's matchup riding consecutive sweeps of South Carolina and Georgia. The Commodores have also earned conference victories over Florida, Auburn and Alabama, making this another difficult road test for head coach Jamie Morrison's squad. Texas A&M will look to rebound and strengthen its NCAA Tournament resume with the postseason approaching.
Below is everything needed to follow the action.
Friday's ranked SEC matchup will stream live on SEC Network+ as the Aggies continue their road trip. The match will not air on the traditional SEC Network television channel.
